June 16 - 18, 2020 | Toronto Congress Centre (South Building)
FARMINGTON, Conn., April 10, 2018 – In booth 305 at FABTECH Canada, TRUMPF will demonstrate a number of its innovative machine tools for precision sheet metal fabrication. The show takes place June 12 – 14, 2018 at the Toronto Congress Centre.
TRUMPF’s TruLaser 3030 fiber with 6kW TruDisk laser is a highly flexible and productive laser cutting machine. The six-kilowatt laser power provides high quality laser processing across a wide range of material thicknesses including non-ferrous or highly reflective materials such as copper or brass.
Equipped with TRUMPF’s patented HighSpeed Eco cutting technology this machine minimizes nitrogen consumption while maximizing productivity using the newly designed bi-flow nozzle. BrightLine fiber guarantees the highest edge quality in a wide range of material thicknesses and facilitates easy part removal.
The TruMatic 1000 fiber is an economical, compact and automation-friendly punch laser machine designed to grow with a customer’s business. The machine’s unique modular design enables the TruPunch 1000 to transition into the new TruMatic 1000 fiber. The process is achieved by adding a 3kW TruDisk solid-state laser and retrofitting the TruPunch 1000 with a laser cutting system, a laser evacuation unit and a beam guard system. Through this conversion process, sheet metal fabricators are able to increase the variety of parts they manufacture. Both new machines from TRUMPF offer a completely redesigned drive technology, which is crucial to the success of its modular concept. The patented “Delta Drive” moves both the electric punching head and the laser along the y-axis while the sheet moves in the opposite direction – a revolution in punching head technology.
High axis speeds and acceleration rates combined with innovative operating aids lead to unparalleled productivity with the new TruBend Series 5000. These highly productive, universal machines from TRUMPF come equipped with a new On-Demand Servo Drive with 4-cylinder drive technology. The Servo Drive is highly dynamic, extremely quiet in operation, and delivers significantly more productivity compared to a conventional drive. It is also eco-friendly as it consumes energy only during the bending process. Equipped with the ToolMaster for automatic tool changes in seconds, the TruBend Series 5000 takes advantage of 60 spaces for upper and 48 spaces for lower tools. The ToolMaster accepts standard tooling and takes care of the setup process virtually eliminating search and transit
times for operators.
Fast and flexible describe the TruMark 5020. High pulse frequencies and superior pulse-to-pulse stability make this fiber laser marker the ideal solution for metal or plastic applications where high speed and superior edge quality are required. The TruMark 5020 shows special strength in marking metal by delivering high quality customized marking or engraving in short processing times.
TRUMPF’s portable power tools for sheet metal processing will be on display in booth 305 at FABTECH Canada. The innovative TruTool family of power tools, for cutting, fastening, beveling and deburring sheet metal, is available with a range of capabilities and options to match your fabrication needs. Easy to guide and operate, each TruTool product line was designed with productivity, safety, and operator comfort in mind. Unlike any other tool on the market, the TruTool TSC 100 slat cleaner removes slag build-up on any laser cutting machine’s support slats without interrupting production. It is a simple and cost effective alternative to manual slag removal or complete slat replacement.
