Best, Safe Practices and Operating Efficiency for Slit Coils
With safety as their primary concern, steel stamping and fabrication operators regularly look for new ways to improve operational efficiencies for slit coil handling, storage, and movement. Working closely and listening to operators in this field and, more specifically, production floor personnel, several solutions for placing multiple slit coils in machine-ready orientation at workstations have now been designed, tested, and are being employed throughout the industry. This presentation will discuss safety and operational efficiency as well as several slit coil rack designs and implementation case studies. A utilization of these solutions have met end users’ specific requirements for internal transport, staging, and safe slit-coil field storage.

Leveling and Deburring: Modern Metal Processing
This session will continue with the operational efficiency and safety of leveling and deburring technologies. Today’s manufacturing environment increasingly demands flatter parts with reduced internal stresses. Accordingly, this presentation aims to address these challenges and provide solutions for various industries and applications as well as cover safety guidelines. Additionally, deburring needs and applications will be discussed, specifically the quality and safety improvements, which can be achieved. Ultimately, the aim is to offer solutions to improve customer products and expectations by improving your processes.
